Mope Burn is a creator of shoegaze music from Melbourne, Australia. Drawing inspiration from The Jesus and Mary Chain, Astrobrite and The Beach Boys, Mope Burn’s style is constituted by delicate vocals, distorted guitars and a 1980s drum sound. In 2021, she single-handedly wrote, performed and recorded her debut EP. Mope Burn also plays bass and sings for Melbourne band Purrers.
